Who I am
I’m Yulia. I run my own web development company remotely, which means I can work from
anywhere — so I do. House-sitting lets me stay in real homes instead of hotels, and
gives me the animal connection I can’t have with a traveling lifestyle. It works
because I’m genuinely invested in both.
Experience & trust
I grew up with pets and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Since this travel
lifestyle doesn’t allow me to have my own, each sit is a welcome chance to have that
connection again. I’ve been house-sitting full time for over a year, so most
situations that come up are things I’ve likely handled before. References and

What I ask
I’m selective about which sits I accept. Because I work remotely from your home, I
need reliable Wi-Fi, a clean and functional space, and a properly maintained home. I
treat your home the way I’d want mine treated, and I expect the same standard in
return. This isn’t a transaction — it’s a mutual arrangement built on trust.

- THS is a mutual exchange — no money changes hands, and it works well when my travel route and your dates align. A direct booking at $999/month makes sense when you need guaranteed availability, your location isn’t on my current route, or you prefer a private arrangement outside a platform. Both options get you the same standard of care.
- Do you sit in any home?
- Since I stay in your home full-time during your trip, its condition matters — not just for comfort, but for my ability to work remotely. I expect a clean, tidy space, working essentials (reliable Wi-Fi, hot water, and heating/cooling where appropriate), and a home that's in good working order, not full of problems. I treat your home with care and expect the same standard in return.
- Why live in full time instead of drop-in visits?
- Routine and presence. Staying in the home keeps your pets' schedule consistent and avoids the stress that comes from long gaps alone. If you're looking for drop-in visits or dog walking, Rover is the best platform for that — you can find me there too.
- How do we confirm a booking?
- We schedule a video call, agree on expectations, and confirm with a written agreement.
